After the stay
Cash, keys, and cards the first week home
Write who holds the house keys, the car key, a debit card, and any cash limit for the first week home. An adult owns their accounts unless they asked for a temporary hold. This page is a household checklist. It is not a financial service.

What to write down
- Who has a house key and a car key, and where the spare is.
- A daily cash amount the person asked to use, and which card stays in a drawer.
- The aftercare phone and the first dated slot. See first week home.
What not to assume
A family member is not a bank and not a power of attorney because someone is home from a stay. A signed release for health information is a different paper. See HIPAA and family authorization.

Questions people ask
Can family keep the debit card?
Only if the adult asked for that hold. Write the rule. Do not surprise a lockout.
Are keys part of treatment?
No. Keys are a household decision. Treatment contacts stay on the aftercare paper.
Does this site hold money?
